Stay positively committed to achieving your dreams, nothing is impossible.” With this Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote joined Twitter on the first of January. Africa’s richest man had no problem gaining followers on the social network: within the first day he already had 16,000 followers, writes Forbes. This ballooned to nearly 40,000 a week later. He was a bit more selective, following the accounts of people like Bill Gates and Dangote’s own company account. In his second tweet, Dangote encouraged conversation and said he’d try to keep up. But with a lot on his plate, including a new refinery for his homeland, will Dangote even find the time?
